just a quick post to let you know of a LAN party I’m going to be hosting sometime this month. I’m still trying to find out who can make it and who can’t so a date has not been set as of yet.

What on earth is a LAN party?

Local Area Network Party. This is where a load of “cool” people get together in one place with their computers, connect them all together, and then have some fun! Lan parties often go on for days on end, without sleep or rest!

How many people will be there?

In short, no more than 8. The reason being is that bandwidth (and space) is limited!

How long will it last?

One day and one night - or - One night and one day.

Where is it?

.. in my house.

How much does it cost?

Nothing.

What’s the key features of this event?

• Free food !
• 2 Streaming radio stations: Rock+Hip-Hop+R’N'B+Techno “VS” Bhangra + Bollywood
• Ideal chance to copy over any warez you want

What do I require?

• A computer / laptop
• Mouse and keyboard
• A screen (I’ve got two spare ones here just in case)
• Ethernet or USB cable
• Memory stick or empty hard drive (if you intend on copying content)

If you live locally I can arrange for your PC to be picked up. The events most probably going to take place on a Friday or on the weekend. Let me know if you are coming!
